Traditional Baked Beans
- 1 lb dry white beans
 - ½ cup fancy molasses
 - ¼ tsp black pepper
 - ¼ cup brown sugar, lightly packed
 - Salt to taste
 - 2 onions, sliced
 - ½ lb salt fat back pork, cut in small pieces
 
Cook beans in water until tender. Add molasses, pepper, brown sugar, salt. Onion and salt fat back pork. Bake in preheated 350 °F oven for 2 hours. Remove cover and continue to bake until beans are browned.
