đź›’ Ingredients
For the Chicken
-
2 split chicken breasts (bone-in or boneless)
 -
1 egg, beaten
 -
AGD Chicken Coater (available at Powell’s!)
 -
Cooking spray (like Pam)

For the Waffles
-
Pearl Milling Company Pancake Mix
 -
Water, oil, and egg (follow waffle recipe on box)

For the Maple Butter Hot Sauce
-
4 tbsp butter
 -
½ cup pearl millingmaple syrup
 -
1 tsp chili powder (or more if you’re feeling fiery 🔥)

🧑‍🍳 Instructions
1.
Prep the Chicken
-
Preheat your air fryer to 390°F.
 -
Pat chicken dry and dip each piece in beaten egg.
 -
Dredge generously in AGD Chicken Coater. Make sure it’s evenly coated—like it’s going to a crispy prom.
 -
Lightly spray each piece with Pam or another cooking spray.
 -
Air fry for 25–30 minutes. Cook until internal temp hits 165°F.

⚠️ Pro Tip: Bone-in breasts might take closer to 30 minutes. When in doubt, thermometer it out.
2.
Make the Waffles
-
Follow the waffle instructions on the Pearl Milling box (not the pancake ones, unless you like floppy waffles… and no one wants floppy waffles).
 -
Preheat waffle iron, pour in the batter, and cook until golden and crisp.

3.
Whip Up the Sauce
-
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
 -
Stir in maple syrup and chili powder.
 -
Let it bubble for a minute or two, then remove from heat.

🌶️ Want more kick? Add more chili powder or even a dash of cayenne.
